PAROLE PREPARATION & REPRESENTATION
Coordinator: Jack Johnson, Distinguished Felon Tweet
Is your incarcerated friend or loved one interested in parole? Do you believe he or she is a likely candidate for parole? Would they like their case presented in the best possible light? Is there a hearing at least 6 months away?
If the answers to these questions are Yes, we can significantly improve a person’s chances for a successful parole effort. Contact the Parole Me Initiative of The Institute for People with Criminal Records.
While no one has a right to parole, everyone has a right to a fair, and impartial parole effort. The Parole Me Initiative, thru its experienced and motivated staff, will protect that right by:
1. Conducting extensive interviews with the incarcerated person, family, friends, supporters and anyone else involved in a person’s parole preparation, and post-prison plans.
2. With approval from the incarcerated person, we will thoroughly review his or her prison records to present an accurate account of the person’s prison achievements.
3. Interview individuals and organizations pertinent to a person’s post prison plans if paroled.
4. Compile a Parole Portfolio to present to the parole or review board members.

5. If possible, meet with the parole board members assigned to the case.
You and your incarcerated friend or loved one are not alone!
